Group Lessons Beginners Level II Classes Starting May

next 7:30 PM 6-week course starting 5/16/08 has been changed to Beginner Level
II- pre-register now. We will announce the new start date of Level 1 as soon as
possible. 7:30PM Fundamentals Level 2, 6 weeks/ $90.00 per person. This is the continuation of our introductory course. We build with new material to incorporate with the basics covered in level 1. As always emphasizing technique and style! Experience for this class is a must! As with all our classes we have very progressive syllabus. You must have taken our level 1 course or have at least 6 months of lessons else where to participate. No partner is required but very helpful. 8:30 PM Intermediate Tango Nuevo. Focusing on enhancing
your expressiveness, style and creativity. Tango Nuevo has become very popular in recent years. The embrace is usually open and very elastic permitting the leader to lead a large variety of figures. Tango Nuevo is a dancing and teaching style. This style combines dancing to jazz and techno alternative Tango music in addition to traditional Tango compositions. As a teaching style, it emphasizes a structural analysis of the dance in which previously unexplored combinations of steps and new figures can be found. Tango Nuevo is often misunderstood and mislabeled as “show tango” because many tango stage dancers have adopted Tango Nuevo elements in their choreographies. Come join us for something different and fun. 9:30PM, Milonga. $10.00 per person. Free with tuition. Space is limited for both classes, we are pre-registering now. To insure your spot in one or both classes, register by emailing: events@amoretango.com or call 215-634-1101 ext.1 and leave name, phone number and number of persons enrolling. Enrollment in any class includes admission to our milonga which starts at 9:30PM. Admission to Milonga only is $10. *We are now issuing class cards for all classes and will be running 6 week level 1 & 2(beginners) and 4 week intermediate and advanced classes. Cards must be purchased on or before the first night of each series. Drop in for inter./adv. classes will be $20.00 per person. At Nackord Karate Studio (formerly a ballroom studio) Gateway Shopping Center * Lesson Policies: Classes start at the specified time. No one will be admitted 15 minutes after the class starts. Classes are scheduled as time and space allows, number of students is limited to insure quality.
Missed classes may be taken in the next cycle of that course and must be taken within 6 months of enrollment. No refunds are given. |
